Have you ever read through old prayer journals & are shocked, but encouraged at the same time?

Yesterday, I did, and what was astonishing was reading my pain on paper. However, gratitude fills my sooooooul while meditating on Psalm 16:6 — "The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance."

I remember reading this scripture for the first time during my mentoring times with@georginaolysse. I thought to myself, "girl, get out of my face... you're a liarrrrrrrr. " 😤 ... I guess you could say I was angry at the time... It was frustrating reading these scriptures because although I read what the scriptures said, my life did NOT agree. I was grieving the death of my grandmother, enduring persecution, stuck at the worst job in the world and had no direction for my life.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

This scripture gives me hope because although my feelings don't always agree with the scriptures at the moment, I'm grateful for God's Word, wisdom & timing that led me to being surrendered. 👉🏾 Don't sell the scriptures short by giving up prematurely before you're able to gain a different perspective on verses like Psalm 16:6 & Ecclesiastes 3. 👈🏾

Hit me up if you'd like to talk more about the good & the bad by studying the Bible! 🌻

I hope you bloom,

Joyce 🤍
